Then I wanted my front door stained but they convinced me I would be unhappy with the results so we went to plan B and painted the door the same color as the shutters and it turned out great. I had friends over Labor Day Weekend and they were impressed with how well the house looked. All the workers put in plenty of hours, were courteous, cleaned up and generally went the extra mile on my projects. I appreciated the hard work and attention to detail. Conditions That Change a St. Augustine Painting Project
A home a few blocks from the water and a home in a newer inland community can both be described as St. Augustine houses and still need genuinely different work. Substrate varies: conventional stucco, synthetic stucco, fiber cement, wood siding and trim all behave differently. So does the age and condition of whatever coating is already on the surface.
That's why we evaluate the property before quoting rather than pricing by square footage alone. The inspection determines the preparation, the repairs and the coating system, not the neighborhood name.
Coastal Communities
Vilano Beach, St. Augustine Beach and Anastasia Island. Properties closer to the water may see greater exposure to wind-driven rain, UV and salt-laden air. Surface preparation and coating selection carry more weight here, and elevations facing the ocean often differ from those that don't.
